Description
The International School in AstroParticle Physics 2023 aims to advance the young researchers knowledge about the current status of research in the field of Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics.
It will be held in the beautiful small village of Varenna, located in front of the Como Lake and surrounded by the Alps scenario.
The School has an interdisciplinary approach. The lectures and discussions are addressed to PhD students and post-docs working in a variety of research areas, including particle and astroparticle physics, high energy and stellar astrophysics, cosmology.
Neutrino and its properties: flavours, cross section, mass, quantum numbers, Dirac and Majorana neutrinos, upper limit for magnetic moment, search for sterile neutrinos
Neutrino oscillation (solar and reactor neutrinos, neutrino beams, short and long baseline experiments-) CP violation in the lepton sector and mass ordering determination
