        Pile up identification and implementation

The presentation is about the implementation on SHOE of an algorithm of pile up removal based on a constant threshold derivative discrimination method. It is able to filter out the overlapping of more than one projectile crossing the Start Counter detector of FOOT in the same time window. The robustness of the method was tested on data of GSI 2021, with a total rejection of 1% in the analyzed dataset.
