Description
The ATLAS muon reconstruction performance during the LHC
run I at $\sqrt(s)= 7$ and 8 TeV was recently measured
using samples of $J/\psi \rightarrow \mu\mu$,
$Z \rightarrow \mu\mu$ and
$\Upsilon \rightarrow \mu\mu$ decays. Reconstruction efficiency,
transverse momentum resolution and momentum scales are measured
in the various regions of the detector
and for muon momenta between 6 and hundreds of GeV.
