How to get to the Symposium venue (Venezia lido)

Venice is served by one big airport, the Marco Polo International Airport and a smaller one, the Antonio Canova airport, located in the near town of Treviso.
From Marco Polo international Airport
Once you get to Venice Marco Polo International Airport, you can directly reach the Lido of Venezia island by boat with Alilaguna Transport.
Please check the routes (strongly suggested the blue line) and times. Final destination: Lido S.M.E (Lido Santa Maria Elisabetta).
Once at Lido SME there are several public buses leaving from right in front of the deck, serving the whole island. Please check the routes and times at this link:

Lines "V" and "11" will take you to the Symposium venue.
From Treviso International Airport
Once arrived at the Treviso International Airport, one should take a bus to Venice central railway station and from there a boat to Venice Lido SME, as there are no direct connection from the Treviso Airport to the Lido of Venezia island.

If you arrive to Venice by train, once out from the central railway station (Venezia Santa Lucia-Piazzale Roma -Ferrovia ), you should take a waterbus (vaporetto) to Venezia Lido SME (lines 1 or 2). Please check the routes and times here:

If you wish to take your car to the Lido, then you should take a ferry boat leaving from "tronchetto" in Venice and arriving directly to Lido. Please check times here: https://actv.avmspa.it/en/content/ferry-boat-4
Moving around the Venezia Lido Island
Moving around the Lido island is an interesting experience. On one side there is the Adriatic Sea, on the other, the Lagoon. Both sightseeing are worth to be seen. You can either walk or take a bus. Check the routes and times here:
