Registration
The Registration desk at the venue will be open from 6pm to 8 pm on Sunday 22nd.
Whoever is already at the Lido and would like to register and avoid Monday morning long queues, is welcome.
From Monday to Friday, the Registration Desk will be open from 8:00 to 20:00
How not to get lost at the venue
Palazzo del Casinò rooms are distributed on three floors. Plenary Sessions will be at the entrance floor, while Parallel Sessions will be held in various rooms on different floors. Please find here followinf a plant, but you will find a printed copy of the same in the bag that will be distributed at registration desk upon arrival.
The WI-FI
There will be the possibility to use Eduroam
There will also be another dedicated wi-fi, for which you'll need a personal username and a password. These will be unique for each participant.
A mail with the password will be sent to each participant, while the username will be printed on the badge and will be distributed at the Registration Desk upon arrival.
Municipality TAX to enter the city of Venice: exemption for EU Strategy Open Symposium Participants to be asked.
Since April 2025, to enter or simply pass by the city of Venice an entry tax must be paid (Municipality rule). There are some exempted situations but the exemption MUST be requested as well.
Venice Lido is exempted but, should you want to visit Venice while staying in Italy, or should you pass by Venice Airport or Train Station before arriving at Venezia Lido, it is strongly suggested to get the exemption, as controls are very severe.

"Subjects staying in accommodation facilities within the Municipality of Venice”
"workers, including commuters, employees, who carry out their work activity, continuously or even temporarily, in the ancient city of the Municipality of Venice or in the other minor islands of the lagoon"
A mail will be sent to each participant, with the Instruction on how to request the exemption.
Remote participation
All Plenary Sessions will be on streaming. The link to allow the remote participation will be indicated under the Indico Web Site banner, on Monday 23rd, just before the beginning of the Symposium.
Parallel Sessions will not be on streaming but a possibility to listen to presentations will be given through some dedicated moderated channels. More details will follow.
NO interactions (questions and answers) will be allowed from remote.
