Description
Advanced Accelerator Facilities in the US cover a broad range of topics and applications. Prominent facilities include FACET-II at SLAC, BELLA at LBNL, AWA at Argonne, ATF at Brookhaven, and the Texas Petawatt Laser. Combined, these facilities generate enormous scientific output. We review major results from the past decade and expected outcomes in the near future. We also consider steps toward next-generation facilities that will support staging and high repetition rate operation.
