Travel Information
You can reach the ST EuroNNAc Workshop site (Hotel Hermitage, Strada Provinciale della Biodola, 57037 Portoferraio - LI - La Biodola Bay, Elba Island, Italy) in the following ways:

By plane to Pisa or Roma (FCO) airports. Meeting buses will be provided from/to;

By plane to Elba Island (Marina di Campo airport) only few flights from some airports (check here);

By train to Campiglia Marittima and/or Piombino Marittima, then ferry-boat to Portoferraio. A shuttle bus will be available upon request to connect the Workshop site and Portoferraio harbour;

By car to Piombino, then ferry-boat to Portoferraio, a short drive to La Biodola Bay (10 km). Since parking is limited at the Hotel Hermitage, we encourage participants to use the meeting buses as much as possible.
ST-Euronnac Workshop buses will connect the Meeting site to Roma Airport - "Leonardo da Vinci" (FCO) - and to Pisa Airport "Galileo Galilei" (PSA) on the dates of start and end of the Workshop. The rate is included in the conference FEE for participants. Companions can use the workshop bus for free.

Sunday, September 18th: bus to Hotel Hermitage
- from Roma airport "L. Da Vinci" at 11:00 a.m.
- from Roma airport "L. Da Vinci" at 1:30 p.m. (FULLY BOOKED, no more seats available)
The meeting point for participants is at the Arrival area of Terminal 3 (after baggage claim, ground floor). We will send detailed information to who will reserve the bus through the registration form; - from Pisa airport "G. Galilei" at 3:00 p.m.

Saturday, September 24th: from Hotel Hermitage
- to Roma airport "L. Da Vinci" at 7:00 a.m. (expected arrival at 1:30 p.m.)
- to Pisa airport "G. Galilei" at 7:00 a.m. (expected arrival at 11:00 a.m.)
The ST-Euronnac LoC strongly suggest to book a flight for your return from FCO airport with departure time after 3:30 p.m.
Special for NPACT meeting attendees -> Sunday, September 25th: from Hotel Hermitage
- to Roma airport only "L. Da Vinci" at 7:00 (expected arrival at 1:30 p.m.)

Piombino Marittima station is located just across the road from the harbour so you can easily transfer to the ferry-boat. Campiglia Marittima is 17 Km to Piombino harbour, you can take a taxi or BUS.
