NOW 2024 Accommodation at Basiliani SPA Hotel
Deadline for booking and partial payment: July 20th
All NOW 2024 participants will be accommodated at Basiliani SPA Hotel in Otranto.
The room reservations for NOW participants are handled exclusively by the following Meeting and Events Agency:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ROOM BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION PRE-PAYMENT OF 50%
Before July 15th you are required:
- book the room through a dedicated website of the “Intermeeting Sud” Agency
- pay 50% of its cost by bank transfer, within 5 days from your booking
as detailed below.
The remaining due balance will be paid at your arrival at the Hotel check-in desk. In the absence of 50% pre-payment, your booking will be cancelled and you will not be entitled to attend the Workshop. In order to proceed with booking and pre-payment, please first read carefully the accommodation rates and the cancellation policy, reported at the end of this page.
How to book your room and confirm it by pre-paying 50% of its cost
Go to the dedicated Agency webpage:

and fill all the required information about your stay. After you finish and confirm, you will receive an email from the agency, AgencyNOW2024@intermeetingsud.com with instructions about how to pay 50% of the room cost. Note that you might receive this email with some delay (e.g., 10’) after booking completion.
You have then up to five days to make your Bank (wire) Transfer to the Basiliani Hotel Bank account indicated in the Agency email. [Note that the Hotel bank account is different from the Agency bank account for the fee.] A pdf copy of the transfer must be sent by email to the Agency address: AgencyNOW2024@intermeetingsud.com
If five days expire with no payment, the room reservation will be cancelled.

Note: The Intermeeting Sud Agency will also take care of your transportation by bus/shuttle to/from the Hotel from/to the Brindisi airport or the Lecce train station during the whole Workshop (if you do not travel with your own car), based on your detailed arrival and departure information, that you should send to the Agency by email well in advance. The shuttle transportation plan will be sent to the interested participants a few days before the start of the Workshop. Notice that the shuttle transfer time takes ~1h20’ from/to the airport, and ~45’ from/to the train station. The NOW 2024 shuttle service will be free of charge, while private taxi services would be very expensive.
Accommodation rates and cancellation policy
We have reserved a block of 115 rooms for the participants from Monday Sept. 2 (arrivals, check-in after 16:00) to Sunday Sept. 8 (departures, check-out before 11:00), for a total of up to 6 nights. Accommodation at the Basiliani Hotel cannot be extended beyond these dates (up to a few exceptional cases, if any), and stays cannot be shorter than 3 nights. We strongly recommend to stay for the whole week 2-8 September (6 nights).
The special room rates offered to NOW 2024 participants and accompanying persons are:
- 167 Euro/night/person for single occupancy (full board, VAT included);
- 134 Euro/night/person for double occupancy (full board, VAT included).
All rooms are located within the Basiliani Hotel area. In case of disabilities or special mobility needs (e.g., children with baby strollers) please inform the Agency, so as to find proper accommodation solutions (e.g., avoiding external walkways with several steps).
Family reductions:
- Infants (from 0 to 3 years not completed): free of charge. Baby crib, if requested: free of charge.
- Children (from 3 years completed to 12 years completed): -50% reduction
- Adults (> 13 years) in 3rd and/or 4th bed in same room: -25% reduction
The above rates do not include the Otranto City Tax, that should amount to 2 Euro/night/adult (to be confirmed for this Summer).
Room cancellation policy (after 50% prepayment):
- For cancellations from July 16th to July 31st, the prepaid amount will be refunded, minus 100 euro processing charge.
- For cancellations from July 31st to August 15th, half of the prepaid amount will be refunded.
- For cancellations after August 15th, the prepaid amount will not be refunded.
