Please find below timetable and bus stops of the daily shuttle buses from affiliated hotels (see below) to the school venues.
At the end of lectures, a shuttle bus ride back to the hotels is also foreseen.
Please note that the shuttle bus route is based on the location of affiliated hotels, therefore those who reserved other hotels or b&b's will have to reach the bus stops below independently.
Timetable will also be available at the reception desk of each affiliated hotel though.
Each bus will have a sign in the front window indicating "INFN".
Here's quick explanation concerning two bus stops in particular:
- the GSSI bus stop is at walking distance for those who are staying at Hotel L'Aquila or other b&b's and hotels in the city centre and is located along via Francesco Crispi (Google Maps/Street View link available here);
- the railway station is located in front of Porta Rivera Hotel and is at walking distance for those who are staying at Hotel 99 Cannelle.

Here you can find some information on how to reach LNGS and/or L'Aquila.
LNGS is located inside the Gran Sasso-Laga National Park (Google map), about 120 kilometers north-east from Rome. The lab is very close to the city of L’Aquila, the capital of the Abruzzo region, that was founded in 13th century. The history of the region is a fascinating blend of tradition and legends. The territory hosts a unique natural environment with rare species of flora and fauna as well as architectural and archaeological sites.
Drivers can take highway A24 from Rome or Teramo. Take the exit "L'Aquila East" or "L'Aquila West" to get to L'Aquila or the exit "Assergi" to reach the lab: at the toll gate turn right and after 100 meters turn right again (via Giovanni Acitelli), you will find the laboratory entrance on your left.
All people landing in Fiumicino or Ciampino can take a Gaspari or Flixbus direct bus from airports to L’Aquila (final bus stop Amiternum bus station).
People may also take TUA-ABRUZZO buses from Rome (Tiburtina train station) to L’Aquila.
First bus stop in L’Aquila is Amiternum bus station (same as Gaspari bus above) and final stop is Collemaggio Bus Terminal (located in the city center).
Taxi cabs are normally available at Amiternum bus station, if needed you can call the local radio-taxi service +39 0862 25165.

Accommodation
Here you can find the list of affiliated hotels with contracted rates for the school.
Reservation should be made personally by the participants directly contacting the hotels.
Important: no booking service provider (e.g. booking.com) should be used in order to be included in the list of the school attendees and get the contracted rates.
Reservation code for participants is “SOUP” and must be mentioned when booking the room.
Rooms will be available until the deadline below on “first come, first served” basis.
Reservation will still be possible though after those dates, but availability of rooms will no longer be guaranteed.
About the location, all hotels located west side are very close to motorway and Amiternum bus station (final bus stop for main long distance buses). Many restaurants and bars are available in the western area as well as urban buses and taxi cabs. The hotels in the old town centre are located on pedestrian areas and they are all very close to main city monuments and places of interest as well as most of bars, pubs and restaurants.
