Description
In the last few years, the infrastructure and technologies supporting software development and responsible for the provision / management of information system services have undergone significant changes and technological upgrades. Our aims were to accelerate and improve processes without sacrificing quality of the provided services.
The constant increasing use of distributed services and the reengineering of obsolete applications by following a microservices approach have required a review of our software development processes and methodologies as well as the adoption of new technologies.
This talk will describe the innovations introduced in our infrastructure in order to improve the services management. This new approach has led to technological and organizational challenges and changes to the software development platform and related software processes, with particular attention to quality, sustainability of produced software and security aspects.
