This is the last circular for the 12th International Spring Seminar on Nuclear Physics.
SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM
The program of the Seminar will be posted on the conference website by the end of April.
Talks
Speakers are allocated 20 or 15 minutes plus 5 minutes question and answer time.
The files with presentation should be made available to the conference secretariat the day before the talk. These files, according to the authorization of the presenter, will be uploaded on the conference website, otherwise they will be canceled out.
Posters
Some contributions will be presented as posters. The poster session will be held on the late afternoon of Thursday, 18 May from 18:00 to 19:30, and light refreshment will be provided. Maximum poster size is A0 (1189x841 mm). The posters can be put up starting from Monday morning and adhesive material to hang up the posters will be supplied.
PROCEEDINGS
The Seminar proceedings will be published by IOP in the online open access journal Journal of Physics: Conference Series. All submitted papers will be peer reviewed. A hard copy of the proceedings will be made available to all conference participants. The cost is included in the registration fee. The proceedings will contain the text of all invited and contributed papers. Contributions will not be included if the contributor does not attend the Seminar.
Papers must not exceed 6 manuscript pages including tables and figures. The deadline for receipt of manuscripts is September 15, 2017. These should be sent as PDF files to the E-mail address spring2017@na.infn.it and must be prepared making use exclusively of the proceedings style files to be downloaded from the site http://conferenceseries.iop.org/content/authors .
Please keep in mind that, since we aim at fast publication of the proceedings, the above deadline must be strictly observed and no paper arriving later than this date will be accepted.
REGISTRATION AND ACCOMMODATION
The conference Secretariat and conference room are located at the Miramare Sea Resort Hotel. Participants may register and pick up their conference portfolios at the Seminar Secretariat. On Sunday May 14, this will be open from 17:00 to supper time, and thereafter daily until the end of the Seminar.
Participants who have not provided to the fee payment may do it on arrival by cash or credit card at the SWEET TRAVEL agency desk located at the Miramare Sea Resort.
Participants who have reserved their hotel through the SWEET TRAVEL SRL - TOUR OPERATOR should pay the balance due to the hotels at the travel agency desk located at the Miramare Sea Resort during the conference.
Dinners will be always served at the restaurant of the Miramare Sea Resort, while breakfast will be served in the respective reserved hotel.
Participants whose accommodation was not managed by the travel agency, can attend the dinner at restaurant of the Miramare Sea Resort by booking at the same agency desk. The price is of 30,00 € per dinner and it is advisable to book the day before.
Participants who wish to have work lunch at Miramare Sea Resort can book the meals at the agency desk. The price per work lunch is of 25,00 €.
The hostesses at the SWEET TRAVEL agency desk will be present during the whole conference time to support participants and accompanying persons and give tips and suggestions for a best Ischia experience.
SOCIAL EVENTS
| Sunday, 14 May | A welcome cocktail is offered at the Hotel Miramare Sea Resort to participants and accompanying persons before dinner. |
| Tuesday, 16 May | An excursion to Giardini della Mortella is organized. The buses from Sant’Angelo will leave at 15:00. A packed lunch will be provided by the Seminar to the participants and accompanying persons. |
| Thursday, 18 May | Light refreshment will be offered during the poster session. |
| Thursday, 18 May | Banquet, with no extra cost for participants and accompanying persons, will take place at the Miramare Sea Resort. |
TRANSPORT TO ISCHIA
The most convenient way to reach Ischia Porto is to take a hydrofoil from Molo Beverello, with a travel time of about 50 minutes (cost ~18,00). Otherwise you can take a ferry from Calata Porta di Massa with travel time of about 1 hour 35 min (cost ~14,00). Both harbors can be reached from the Central Railway Station and Capodichino Airport by taxi at the cost of ~11 € and 19 €, respectively or by the ALIBUS shuttle (cost 4 € on board), leaving every 20 minutes from 06:30 until 23:30.

From Ischia Porto you can reach Sant’Angelo by bus (EAVBUS, lines CD, CS and 1). It takes about 50 minutes. The bus stop is at about 200 meters from the Ischia Porto harbor and the ticket price is of 1,20 or 1,70 €, if you buy tickets before going on the bus or on board.
Note that Sant’Angelo is almost entirely traffic-free, so the only ways to reach your hotel from bus stop are by foot or electric taxi. These can be found ~200 m from the bus stop. As you will be carrying luggage with you, we would recommend that you take an electric taxi that could be reserved at the cost of 6 € per person plus 1 €per luggage. On Sunday May, 14 the conference will provide a transfer service from Ischia Porto to Sant’Angelo d’Ischia, which includes transportation to your hotel by electric taxi, with the following timetable

The meeting point is at the exit of the hydrofoil arrival area (pier 2), where a hostess will be waiting for you holding a placard with the SWEET TRAVEL agency logo.
