Welcome Party: Monday 2nd
On Monday March the 2nd the Local Organizing Committee will be pleased to welcome all participants with a drink and some bites.
The welcome drink will be held at Palazzo Franchetti, around 7pm, soon after the end of the last programmed session of the day.
Cultural Visit: Tuesday 3rd
It has been organized a visit to Scuola Grande di San Marco (http://www.scuolagrandesanmarco.it/default.aspx).
A beautiful, ancient and prestigious school. Recently refurbished and again opened to public, showcases astonishing paintings by Tintoretto, Padovanino, Giovanni Bellini, Giovanni Mansueti and many others. Worth to be visited, the rare and precious books, documents and collections of the School of Medicine Library and of the History of Medicine Museum.

Social Dinner: Wednesday 4th
The social dinner will be held on Wednesday 4th at the "Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal" Restaurant, "Salone del Ridotto" (http://www.hotelmonaco.it/meeting-e-party-palazzo-dandolo/).
One of the most elegant places in Venice, right on the Grand Canal, where the finest cuisine will delight your taste and the wonderful "stucchi" of the saloon and the fantastic view of the Grand Canal, will charm your sight.

Poster Party: Thursday 5th
An informal party with "wine and cheese" will take place on Thursday 5th, during the poster session, at palazzo Franchetti, approximately from 7pm to 9pm. It will be the occasion to view the posters and discuss them together with the authors.

This is an exhibition on Russian Impressionists from Moscow, temporarily held at Palazzo Franchetti, before the paintings will move back to Russia to be placed at the Russian International Museum, foreseen to be officially opened in Autumn. Free entrance. An occasion not to miss!
