Minutes of SuperB EMC meeting May 9, 2012
Indico agenda page is at:

1) Presentation from Stefano on clustering and barrel electronics
Slides at:
http://agenda.infn.it/getFile.py/access?contribId=1&resId=0&materialId=slides&confId=5017
The neural net inputs used in the improved clustering are the
time-sampled pulse heights. The zero time for this study
is the MC-known bunch crossing. Slides are for x5 background.
The .24 MeV for 140us shaping is from a combination of
factors in the scaling (eg, PIN diode noise lower, gain lower,
CsI(Tl) light yield higher).
Ric is planning a measurement with PIN diodes for Elba.
2) Presentation from Valerio (reporting on work by Luigi Recchia)
on electronics noise measurements
Slides at:
http://agenda.infn.it/getFile.py/access?contribId=0&resId=0&materialId=slides&confId=5017
The Hamamatsu CSP is used because it has variable
integration time.
Comment that optimal shaping may be different at 340V
and 380V.
3) Discussion of TDR, especially forward section
Slides from Ric at:

Rome engineer has made contact with Jim Kay(?) at
RAL (formerly Liverpool) concerning BaBar forward endcap.
We are presently interested in the 3D CAD drawings of the
C fiber structure.
Various people talking with engineers at SLAC; agreed
to have Kevin Flood as main liaison so they don't get
overlapping requests.
Many new drawings from BaBar; will try to use Rome repository
begun by Corrado to collect and centralize.
4) AOB
next meeting Wed, May 23 1730/0830
There are minutes attached to this event.
Show them.
