How to reach LNGS
All people landing in Fiumicino or Ciampino can take a Gaspari or Flixbus bus to L’Aquila west side bus station (a.k.a. Amiternum or Hotel Amiternum). Timetable and route prices are available on their websites.
Participants may also take TUA-ARPA buses from Rome (Tiburtina bus station) to L’Aquila (timetable). First bus stop in L’Aquila is the same as Gaspari and Flixbus routes above (west side bus station, a.k.a. Amiternum). Final bus stop is Terminal Bus Collemaggio, located in L'Aquila downtown.
In order to get the lab or the meeting-affiliated hotels, there are three options basically:
1) taxi cab, normally available at west side bus station (Radio Taxi L'Aquila +39 0862 25165);
2) city bus (line M6), available at Collemaggio Terminal Bus (last bus stop for TUA-ARPA bus routes);
3) highway A24 from Rome (exit "Assergi", 1-hour drive trip approximately).
