Description
Recent results and highlights of long-lived particle (LLP) searches from the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider are presented. Analyses are presented with a focus on the signatures used to separate the signal from the Standard Model background. Attention is given to the custom reconstruction requirements and to the control of the background with data driven methods.
