A nice occasion to welcome all participants in a friendly and hearty atmosphere with a good glass of wine and some tastes of typical Italian and Paduan specialties, in one of the most beautiful cafè in Padua, famous for its history related to the Italian history of "Risorgimento".
Visit to the "Museo Poleni"
(Wednesday, September 27th - 4:30 - 6:00pm)
The Padova University - Physics and Astronomy dpt. museum is a very interesting site where some very rare instruments for research are collected to show the history and evolution of Physics in Padova from the beginning to nowdays.

Padua is a city very rich in arts and cultural sites to be visited. It has been appointed as UNESCO site for its paintings and historical monuments.
Please find hereby following some of the most interesting sites, which are worth a visit.

The DMnet LOC suggests you to book the visits as soon as possible as entrances are limited and the several requests from all over the world are satisfied on the "first come, first served" basis.
