Roma is full of hotels and you can easily find one that is suitable for your needs, using the most common booking services online.
When booking a hotel, we suggest to check the public transportation time to the venue. Google Maps, for example, has an excellent way to predict how long your trip will last and how many hops you have to do from your hotel to the venue and viceversa.
The centre, as usual, is rather expensive. If you are looking for places in which you can easily find some night life, not so expensive, you can search a hotel in areas like Trastevere or Testaccio. They are not very close to the conference site, however.
