Description
This workshop will bring together leading experts in the search for a possible light dark photon, often referred to as X17. The purpose of the workshop is to discuss the implications of the discovery of a resonant structure in the creation of internal pairs in light nuclei at ATOMKI.
We are going to discuss about possible theoretical interpretations of the discovery, as well as about present and future experiments aiming at confirming the result and/or at providing an experimental evidence for its interpretation as the discovery of a dark photon.
The number of participants attending in person will be limited, because of the limitations to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference will in any case be held in person and online.
