IWHSS2020 will be held in presence, as much as the rules included in anti-COVID protocols will allow, and participants are expected to do whatever possible to come to Trieste.
For people who will not be able to be on site because of the COVID emergency, following the example of ESOF2020, a “hybrid” system will be set up, which will allow interaction between on site and home participants. To promote an active participation, the possibility for all remote participants to keep their camera always on will also be investigated.
In order to allow for a “last minute” decision about on site or home participation,
- registration will close on October 20. By that time only an indication of the possible participation is asked for, and only part of the fee has to be paid;
- participants will be asked to update their registration form with the details on the participation by October 30; Information on arriving in Italy can be found here.
- for people coming to Trieste, the remaining part of the fee will be paid on site (cash, euros).
Important: people who registered in February/March are asked to register (not to pay!) again.
