INFN statement regarding the participation of Russian and Belarusian scientists to conferences
Given the ongoing international crisis determined by the aggression of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, and due to the fact that some scientific Institutions in Russia have publicly expressed support for the acts of war perpetrated by their Government — against the values of peace, cooperation and dialogue proper to science — it is currently not possible to allow the participation by Russian (and Belarusian) Institutions in scientific initiatives, which by their very nature are inspired by these essential and inviolable values. Therefore Russian (and Belarusian) researchers will only be eligible to take part to committees, conferences and scientific events if they are willing to renounce to their affiliation, and participate as individual scientists, as opposed to representatives of their national Institutions.
The scientific sessions will start on June 27th at 9:00 am; the workshop will end on June 30th at about 1:00 pm.
- Laptops connected to multimedia projectors will be operative during the sessions for the presentations. Speakers are recommended to use the PDF format.
- Posters will be exposed for all the duration of the workshop. The space available for each poster is 70 x 100 cm.
- The files of talks and posters will be available on the web page of the workshop.
Instructions for the payment of the participation fee are available at the page
Abstracts submitted after May 10th will be considered for posters. They will be considered for talks if time slots will remain after the selection of the contributions submitted by the deadline of May 10.
