Venue
The workshop will be held in the Rectorate headquarters of the University of Salento, hosted in a historic building dating back to the XVI century. It is located in Piazza Tancredi 7, in the historic center of Lecce, inside the ancient city walls, at walking distance from the main monuments, restaurants, B&B and hotels.

You may also prefer to stay in smaller hotels and B&Bs, located in the city center closer to the workshop venue.
Transports
The closest airport is located in Brindisi (airport code BDS) at about 45km (35 minutes) from the Lecce city center. For autonomous single persons and small groups the most efficient way to go from/to the airport is to use a dedicated Air Shuttle service (for instance, a service of this kind can be booked online at the following url: http://www.airshuttle.it/index_eng.asp or by phone at +39.0832.305522). Information on arrival and departure flights are being collected in order to arrange some collective transfers (on october 8 and 14) to/from the Hotel.
Social Events
Lunch and coffee breaks will be served in the workshop venue. A tour in the city center will be organized on wednesday in the afternoon, before the social dinner.
Participation Fee
In order to partly cover the organization expenses, a fee of 100 € will be asked to each participant. The fees will be paid cash at registration onsite.
