Description
At finite temperature and chemical potential QCD shows up a phase transition to a deconfined, chirally symmetric phase. At large enough values of the parameters, no bound state is expected to be found in the plasma. The fate of the hadrons in the hot medium has been studied through different approaches to QCD, and the results will be briefly summarized. Recently, a new approach to the non-perturbative regime of QCD has been put forward, the AdS/QCD correspondence, which tries to apply Maldacena conjecture to QCD. In this talk, the study of hadrons at finite temperature will be addressed through a phenomenological model, called the soft-wall model, which has been inspired by the AdS/QCD correspondence. The extension to finite density will also be discussed, and the results in this regime will be shown as well.
