DavideP report 1mSpeaker: Davide Pinci (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare)
- CSN2: by today a second draft will be online.
- CERN shipment for Herman:
- first tranche on his way to CERN (http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/track?track=yes&trackNums=1Z5482R70401106023),
- second tranche will be ordered today. Luigi could bring them back.
- Bussetti:
- gas-flange: drawing diameter provided;
- source and HV flange to be machined this week (11/02 or 12/02);
- discovered that only 6 mm optical windows were provided by mistake;
- Rometech: news on gas fitting hopefully by this week and then we organise a panda-based pick-up
- PE: custom documents found, we can start the custom procedure to send them to Fantini for polishing

DavideF report 1mSpeaker: Davide Fiorina (GSSI & INFN)
Minutes – Weekly Meeting
Procurement / Contracts / Logistics
- Order of humidity and O₂ sensors: still need to collect quotes.
- GSSI concluded the procedure with NIER to start the update of the Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA).
- Next step: I will contact NIER to start the evaluation.
- The affidamento a consumo process with Rometec has finally started.
- No news on the delivery date for the urgent fitting needed for the PMMA box test.
- DarkSide polyethylene: thanks to DavideP we finally obtained the customs (“douane”) documents.
- Next steps: agree with Fantini on dates for cleaning the polyethylene and start the customs procedure for the material.
Infrastructure / Hall F Works
- This week the LNGS workshop will start to work on the HallF gas system flanges and the dewar wheels adapter
- Water pool, polyethylene design, and installation of the copper box: first draft is in place thanks to Cesidio’s work.
- Next steps: fill the technical report and update the Technical Design Report to be validated.
- First step: informal meeting with the Environmental Service tomorrow at 10:00.
Mechanics / Drawings / CAD
- Copper drawings (source flange): still to be validated by Filippo (still on sick leave).
- Copper drawings (service flange): still to be understood/clarified.
- No time this week to discuss with Giulia the next steps on CAD; no availability from technicians as well.
Detector Hardware / Commissioning
- Bent cathode frame: investigation at LNF from the company that produced it on Tuesday.
- GEM installation issue:
- One oxidized GEM was lost; we do not have a spare.
- Investigating shipment to CERN to produce a new oxidized GEM and recover the damaged one.
- Inner Nylon66 frames are bent too, making GEM foil mounting difficult.
- Workaround solution under test these days.
- Schedule impact/delay still under evaluation.
Gas Stock
- CF₄ stock at LNGS is enough for full commissioning (5 bottles available).
- Some He bottles still need to be purchased (Stefano).
