Video calls are offered at the ICD where groups can share their results and findings. The ICD team will provide Zoom meeting rooms and moderators. As a participating group please get familiar with the agenda and fill out the Doodle poll (see Video Call Registration below).

We ask each group to prepare a 5 minute presentation on their work. The aim of the calls is:

to present your school/institute/country to the others
to present what you have done and learned during the day
if you are working with a detector: describe the detector you are working with (e.g. show it with your webcam)
give - in a few sentences - an interim report on your results
if possible: show some results on a single PDF slide
to ask each other questions at the end of each presentation.
To motivate the purpose of the video calls, it would be nice if the organisers could tell their students how scientific collaborations work together in practice and how they share their results. Please prepare the students that the calls will be in English. In the past it worked well to nominate some motivated students in advance to present the results for their group. The video calls are scheduled for 45 minutes (max. 60 minutes). Please be there approx. 15 minutes before the start of the call. We will broadcast the video calls in a live stream in the internal area of this website. So your students can watch what others are presenting at any time.

11:15 → 12:15 Booklet - Opuscolo

As every year, we want to summarize all the results in a booklet.

At the end of the day it would be great if you could summarize your work on cosmic rays, and your results in a proceeding. This can include pictures, comments, notes, measurement results and data analysis. We will collect all contributions, compile them and make the finished booklet available to all participants.

In addition to the proceedings, the booklet includes the general announcement poster, an image of the Google map, and a summary of the event. The booklet will available online and shared with all organizers. The organizers will then forward this link to the participants (students, teachers, scientists) at their institution.

Guidelines:

The official language of this event is English -- all manuscripts must be written in English.
The pages should be designed and formatted in A4 format (21 cm x 29,7 cm).
All groups will design at least one single-page PDF. If you have several (or larger) groups, you may send multiple result pages.
If you would like to include a group photo, please make sure that all participants agree to its use and publication in the booklet.
Please send us your contribution by December 16, 2025, to icd@desy.de.

You can use these templates to design your contribution to the booklet. The position and title of the boxes can be changed as you like. If you have ideas for the booklet or links to additional material, please let us know!
