Description
Baikal-GVD is the largest neutrino telescope operating in the Northern Hemisphere. The detector consists of independent operational subarrays called clusters. The data collection is allowed by the design of the experiment while being in a construction phase. This contribution reviews the design and the basic characteristics of Baikal-GVD. Recent status of the detector after the winter expedition 2026 will be presented. We will report results obtained using cascade-like events collected by Baikal-GVD and some preliminary results obtained with track-like events.
