HOW TO GET TO L'AQUILA AND LNGS
Participants landing in Rome Fiumicino or Ciampino aeroports can take a regional bus to reach L'Aquila bus stop "Fermata Amiternum" located near Hotel My Suite. Timetable and ticket prices are available on the websites:

If arriving in Rome by train, participants may take TUA-ARPA buses from Rome Tiburtina bus station to L'Aquila. The first bus stop in L'Aquila is the same as the Gaspari and Flixbus routes (``Fermata Amiternum"), and the final bus stop is the Collemaggio Terminal bus stop, located in downtown L'Aquila at walking distance from main sites of the interest in the city center.

Car drivers can take highway A24 from Rome, approximately a 1-hour drive (exit "L'Aquila Ovest" or "L'Aquila Est"). -- if you plan to take the A24 from the Adriatic/Teramo side, please check the status of the Gran Sasso tunnel.
For travel between L'Aquila and LNGS, shuttle buses are being organised.
Outside of the dedicated shuttles, there are three more options:
1) city bus (line M6), available at Collemaggio Terminal Bus Station (also the last bus stop for TUA-ARPA bus routes);

2) Drive down highway A24 (exit "Assergi", 10-minute drive approximately).
3) Taxi cab, normally available at 'Fermata Amiternum' bus stop, and Collemaggio Terminal Bus Station. Typical cost is around 30 euros one way.
