How to reach the city center from the airport:
A bus commutes between the airport and the city center with a high frequency. The trip takes about 40 min and costs 7.25 Euro. The buses are labeled A1 and A2, depending on the terminal number. The company name is Aerobus (https://aerobusbarcelona.es/?lang=en).
It is the simplest and most economical way to reach Plaza Catalunya.
How to reach the EXE Campus Hotel on the UAB campus from the airport:
There are two options:

Take the previously mentioned bus to Plaza Catalunya. Change there to the FGC trams. The line to take is S2 (https://www.fgc.cat/en/fgc-network/l-barcelona-valles/en-lines-and-schedule-barcelona-valles-s2-barcelona-placa-catalunya-sabadell/). Leave the tram at the station “Bellaterra” and walk about 600 m to the hotel.

How to reach IFAE from the airport:
In case you plan to come directly from the airport to IFAE, ask the taxi driver to bring you to the roundabout next to the “Parc de Bombers de Cerdanyola de Valls” (Av. de Serragalliners, 08193 Cerdanyola del Vallès, Barcelona) en el campus de la UAB. How to reach IFAE from the Via Augusta Hotel:
The hotel is located near to the FGC station “Gracia” from where you can take the S2 line (https://www.fgc.cat/en/fgc-network/l-barcelona-valles/en-lines-and-schedule-barcelona-valles-s2-barcelona-placa-catalunya-sabadell/).
