IFAE has no agreement with a hotel but usually suggests to use one of the following two options:
There is a good hotel on the campus of the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB):
The hotel is within walking distance of IFAE (about 20 min). The disadvantage is that it is far outside of the city.
Who prefers to enjoy Barcelona, we suggest to consider the following hotel::
It is located in Gracia, a nice quarter of the city. It is near a tram station from which you can take the tram (S2) to the UAB campus. It will take about 60 minutes to reach IFAE from the hotel, and the tram might be packed in the morning.
