Workshop dinner (Wednesday 15/10)

 

The workshop dinner will be held on wednesday October 15th, at 20h , at the restaurant Osteria la Piola, Viale Abruzzi 23, Milano (1.2 km from the Physics Department). 

 

Traditional Lombard Menu

Selection of Typical Appetizers:

  • Milanese historical dish: "Mondeghili" (meatballs)

  • Typical Valtellina dish: "Sciatt" (buckwheat fritters with a cheesy center)

  • Veal tongue with green sauce

  • Farmer's salami

  • Bruschetta with fresh cherry tomatoes

  • Typical "Casera" cheese

  • Hard-boiled egg with tuna sauce

  • Small cutlets in a sweet and sour marinade ("in carpione")

  • Homemade sweet and sour pickled vegetables ("Giardiniera")

 
First Course:
  • The classic Milanese risotto with saffron, creamed with well-seasoned Parmesan cheese.

 
Second Course:
  • Milanese cutlet with an arugula and cherry tomato garnish.

 
Dessert:
  • Homemade Tiramisù with dark chocolate shavings and hazelnut granules.

 
Beverages:
  • Wines (Prosecco, San Colombano DOC Red, Bianco Milano White). 

  • Water, Amaro and Coffee
