How to reach us by public transport

From the Central Railway Station (Milano Centrale FS): take the subway line 2 (green line) in the direction of Cologno /Gessate. Get off at "Piola" station and follow the indications in the direction of Politecnico/Università . You'll arrive in "Piazza Leonardo da Vinci" about 200 meters from the subway station (you can follow the flux of students). Cross the whole piazza, leaving the Politecnico to your left. You'll arrive in Via Celoria, turn left, along Via Celoria, up to the traffic lights. The main entrance of the Physics Department, is immediately after the traffic lights on the right hand side. The trip from the Central Station to the Department approximately takes 15 minutes.

From Milano Malpensa airport: take the Malpensa Express train to Milan Cadorna Station or Milan Central Station (you can find prices and timetables here). Once there, take subway line 2 (green line) and follow the indications above. The trip takes approximately one 1/1.5h. As a further option, bus services operate from the airport to Central Railway Station: this option takes more time.

From Milano Linate airport: take the subway line 4 (blue line) direction San Cristoforo. Get off the subway at Argonne station, then take the bus n° 93 direction Stazione Lambrate FS and get off at the stop Via Celoria (Istituto Besta). The trip takes about 30 minutes from Linate airport.

From Bergamo Orio al Serio airport: take a shuttle bus to Milan, Central Station. Once there, take subway line 2 (green line) and follow the indications above, “From Central Station”. The trip takes about one hour and 15 minutes.
