In the framework of InTraNS training activities, the NuSpIn Scientific Committee has proposed to organize the first hands-on training on Ge detectors.
This workshop is tailored for physicists, technologists, and technicians involved in maintenance and repairing of any type of Ge detectors. Its primary aim is to facilitate the transfer of knowledge within the community, summarizing the current challenges and solutions for various detector types in operation across Europe, from single tapered crystals to AGATA capsules.
Ultimately, the workshop seeks to solidify the community of experts, serving as a pivotal first step towards establishing a distributed expertise in HPGe detectors operation and maintenance.
