Description
Detector studies for future experiments rely on advanced software tools to estimate performance and optimize their design and technology choices. The Key4hep project provides a turnkey solution for the full experiment life- cycle based on established community tools. An important ingredient for the performance of future Higgs Factory experiments, is the particle flow reconstruction for optimal jet energy resolutions. The Key4hep project offers a flexible framework that allows different experiments to benefit from its synergies. One of such examples is the integration of the Pandora particle flow algorithm (PFA) for the future Noble Liquid-Argon (LAr) calorimeter foreseen for one of the FCC detectors. In this presentation, we discuss the integration of Pandora PFA into the Key4hep framework thus enabling its use across multiple detector models. The application of the Pandora PFA for the Liquid-Argon calorimeter is reviewed and the jet energy resolution obtained is evaluated.
