Description

Very rare B-meson decays, in particular Flavour-Changing Neutral-Current processes of the type B(s)-> l+ l-, are an excellent tool to search for New Physics, as they provide a clear experimental signature and they can be predicted very precisely in the Standard Model. Latest measurements of these processes using the large sample of beauty-hadron decays collected by the LHCb experiment during Run 1 and 2 of the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9/fb, will be presented.
