Description
Following the first “Sustainable HEP” Workshop, hosted virtually by CERN 28 – 30 June 2021, members of our community have been compiling a white paper that aims to raise awareness of the environmental impact of our work, to suggest positive changes that we can make to our working practices and the infrastructure upon which they rely, and to identify the implications that these changes could have for social justice. This talk will present the first version of this document, summarise its key recommendations, and discuss the possibilities for its future development.
