In her four-decade long career, Prof. Valeria Ferrari has given seminal contributions to the theory of General Relativity, to gravitational-wave phenomenology, and to the understanding of the physics of neutron stars and black holes. She has mentored several students who have achieved prestigious academic and institutional positions.
