By Plane and by Bus

Portopalo di Capo Passero is located in the south of Sicily, the biggest island of Italy. Portopalo is about 100 km in the south of Catania, whose airport (named "Vincenzo Bellini" or "Fontanarossa") is connected to many Italian and international airports by frequent flights operated by several airlines.

Outside the Catania airport (arrival level) about 30 m on the right side you will find an INTERBUS bus stop.

From the Catania Airport to the school
A transfer bus service between the “Vincenzo Bellini” International Airport of Catania Fontanarossa and the school venue will be provided, for free, in the afternoon/evening of Sunday, June 11th and in the evening of Friday, June 16th or in the morning of Saturday, June 17th. Buses will be scheduled according with arrival/departure times of the school participants.

Please notice that it takes around 2 hours from the Catania Airport to Portopalo (and viceversa); take care of this when you book your tickets. In case of return on Friday, the bus to the airport is supposed to be on time for flights leaving after 8:00 p.m.
