How to reach the Department of Physics

The Department of Physics is located in via Pascoli. Here you can find a map.

By car (from the train station)

At the station square take the road uphill (via Mario Angeloni). Keep going uphill past "Polizia stradale" (the name of the road changes to Ruggero d'Andreotto). At the fork with a road coming down, turn right uphill till you reach a city door at a traffic light. Turn left still uphill. Follow the road to a circle with a gasoline pump to the right. Take right. After two large winding you reach a small square with a bar to the left and a newspapers kiosk a little further. Try to park there or in the vicinity. On the square you will find a narrow road going down in front of a laundrette (via Elce di Sotto). The secondary entry to the Department (usually closed contact your friends at the Department) is there about 50 meters past a small arch in the city walls. The main entrance is located in the parking lot you can reach with stairways going down on Elce di Sotto a few meters past the secondary department entry. If you dare you can try to follow via Elce di sotto to the end and take an abrupt turn right to via A. Pascoli where you will find a gate with a parking lot open to guests in the afternoon.

By bus (from the train station)

Bus C connects the train station to the Physics Department. The bus stop for the Department is Via Annibale Vecchi. From there it is a short walk to the Department: see this map. More info can be found in the website www.umbriamobilita.it (in Italian).
