Gas Pixel Detectors offer efficient techniques to measure polarization in X-ray emission from astrophysical sources.
Two mission proposals, which integrate the GPD designed at INFN, have been selected by ESA and NASA for their space programs and are currently under phase-A evaluation.
This meeting aims at presenting the science case for X-ray polarimetry in space as well as discuss collaboration opportunities for upcoming missions.
