Novel detectors for a renewed class of experiments in fundamental physics

Ideas for novel types of detectors to be used in the search for cosmological axions, dark matter WIMPs, neutrino physics and low energy radiation will be discussed.

The talk will start reviewing briefly the underlying physics requirements for such developments, and then details will be given on specific subjects such as Quantum Counters, Magnetic Detectors, Parametric Amplifiers, Polarized Targets, Electron Spin Resonances.
