Description

Muons are higly penetrating particles, which can travel for several kilometers in rocks. They are produced by the interactios between cosmic ray and the atmosphere. Due to their features they can be used in an imaging method call muon tomography. Muon interactions strongly depend from Z number of the material crossed by comic ray. Therefore, because of this characteristic, different material can be detected.
