Instructions for Proceedings

The writeup of the contributions to the Pisa Meeting will appear in a special issue of NIM-A.
As such it will follows the rules of the Journal. Therefore manuscripts will not be accepted if they have been published
elsewhere or are expected to be published elsewhere.
The length of the contributions for final publication is (including title page and figures):

four pages for oral contributions, two pages for poster contributions.

Pages are meant as standard NIM double column format.

In order to submit the paper, it must be prepared following the rules set by Elsevier:

If you submit a paper using LaTeX (as advised by the organizers), the most useful information is:

After preparing the contribution, it must be submitted using the EES system,
at the following link

Steps to be followed are outlined in some detail below:
1) Go to http://ees.elsevier.com/nima_proceedings
2) If you do not have an EES account on NIM, register and log in,
otherwise simply log in
3) Submit New Manuscript
4) In Menu "Choose Article Type" select
11th Pisa Meeting on Advanced Detectors
Then follow the submission path
a) Enter title
b) enter authors
c) select category (research paper)
d) fill abstract
e) enter Keywords
f) Select manuscript classification (you can enter as many as needed
from the pop-up menu)
g) enter comments for Editors (if any)
h) select one possible reviewer (you can skip this point)
i) attach files (follow instructions)
j) create PDF and follow instructions. The last step is left to you to
approve (or not)
the submission. Do not forget to click the "Ethics" box.

Until you chose to submit the paper will NOT be processed. Until then
you can change/remove/edit your submission.

you can find
many useful information on different links that appear on the main NIMA
page.
