Description
The nature of Dark Matter is probably the most important question that particle physics is facing today. The number of experiments searching for direct interactions with ordinary matter is increasing year by year, but the results are difficult to compare. Following the positive evidence from DAMA/Libra, in the last few years different experiments observed a signal. Other experiments, however, still exclude this possibility. In this talk I will review the status of the most important experiments in the field, focusing the attention on the different techniques and on the attempts to check the results.
