The Department of Physics is located in the peripheral area of the city. For this reason, the best option to enjoy Naples is to stay in the city center, ideally near the Montesanto station (map) and move to the venue by metro.
For example the area around Piazza Dante is well connected and offers a wide selection of hotels and B&Bs within walking distance of the Montesanto station (map).
Mobility to the venue:
- Take Metro Linea 5 “Circumflegrea” from Montesanto (direction Licola) and stop at Soccavo
- Travel time: ~10 minutes
- Frequency: every 24 minutes
- Then change to Line 7 (same platform, opposite rail) and stop at Monte Sant’Angelo. Take the Exit 'Università': you are within the University campus.
