Description

A study of angular correlations arising from gluon polarization effects inside jets is performed using proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of √s = 13.6 TeV. The data collected in 2022 with the CMS detector at the LHC. The details of the parton shower are investigated using jets reconstructed with the anti-kT algorithm and declustered with the Cambridge–Aachen algorithm. The results support the predictions that in- clude gluon polarization effects, while strongly disfavoring models that neglect them.
