THE CITY
The Osiris Plenary Meeting will take place in Padua, a beautiful city in the north of Italy less than one hour from Venice and Verona. You can enjoy visiting its nice historical medieval center, the Cappella degli Scrovegni with Giotto's paintings, the Specola, where Galileo started his studies, and much, much more.HOW TO GET TO PADUA
From Venice Airport you can reach Padua by:- Public transportation
Take the FSBUS ITALIA (SITA) bus to Padua Central Rail Station. Buses run approximately every 60 minutes for a 50 minutes drive. Tickets can be bought at the SITA office at the airport (Euro 8,00) or directly on the bus (Euro 10,00). Bus running from 8:40 am to 9.40 pm.
- Shuttle (Air Service)
Approximately Euro 30,00 (may vary). If you need a shuttle, please indicate it on the registration form, and we'll book one for you.
- TAXI
Taxi are available at any time, but they're quite expansive.
From Treviso Airport you can reach Padua by:
- Public transportation
Take the ATVO BUS to Mestre Central Station and then a train to Padua (approx every 40 minutes).
