HOW TO GET TO L'AQUILA AND LNGS
The partecipants landing in Fiumicino or Ciampino airoports could take Gaspari or Flixbus bus to west L’Aquila bus station (bus stop near Hotel My Suite). Timetable and ticket prices are available on their websites.
If in Rome, participants may take TUA-ARPA buses from Rome (Tiburtina bus station) to L’Aquila (timetable). First bus stop in L’Aquila is the same as Gaspari and Flixbus routes above (west side bus station, hotel My Suite). Final bus stop is Terminal Bus Collemaggio, located in L'Aquila downtown at walking distance from GSSI and main sites of interest in the city center.
Car drivers can take highway A24 from Rome (exit "L'Aquila Ovest" or "L'Aquila Est", 1-hour drive trip approximately). -- if you plan to take the A24 from the Adriatic/Teramo side, please, check the status of the Gran Sasso tunnel.
