Workshop dates

The workshop will start in the morning of Monday 12th of March and end in the evening of Wednesday 14th of March. Participants are expected to reach the hotel on Sunday 11th of March evening and leave on Thursday 15th afternoon. People willing to come on Saturday 10th of March can book an extra day at the condition specified below. Registration must be performed before the 20th of February filling the registration form. You will be contacted directly by the Hotel for credit card informations at the e-mail address that you provided during the registration. The hotel accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. The 25% of the cost of the stay will be charged by the Hotel at the reservation time and it will be refunded if the cancellation is performed 15 days before the start of the workshop. It is possible to be accompanied by another person and/or children, the details are given below.

Lodging information

The cost of the stay is 450 euros in single room and 300 euros per person in a double room. The room price includes: a) full board from Sunday evening (or Saturday evening with the extra cost detailed above) till Thursday afternoon; b) free access to the swimming pool and to the thermal structures; People wishing to skip one lunch or dinner per day can ask saving 5/euros per day. People arriving on the 10th of March will pay an extra day at the price of 100 euros for a single room and 75 euros per person in a double room. It is possible to be accompanied by another person with accommodation in double room. The participant will pay 450 euros and the accompanying person 150 euros. Extra for children has to be agreed directly with the hotel.

Workshop fee

A subscription fee of 200 euros is requested. The fee will be paid at the registration formality on Sunday to the workshop organiser. If you need a special receive heading (not entitled to yourself) please specify it in the registration form. If you reserve a place on the bus from Roma Fiumicino airport (see below) the fee must be payed in advance following the instructions at the following link. The ferry ticket will be bought by the organisers and it must be payed at the arrival in the hotel.

Student support

A student support has been considered. PhD students willing to apply will be arranged in double rooms. The fee has to be paid by the students but a total or partial allowance support will be provided according to the availability and requests. Students asking for support have to pay the fee in advance following the instructions at the following link

Social events

An excursion to visit the Island and/or the Gulf of Naples is being organised free of charge. A social dinner will take place at the end of the workshop, the price is included in the fee and a contribution of 30 euros is requested for accompanying persons.

Travel informations

Flying directly to Naples

Ischia is reachable form the port of Naples "Molo Beverello" (please remember the name, there are other ports in the town). You can fly to Naples going to the international airport of Naples "Aeroporto di Capodichino" http://www.portal.gesac.it/portal/page/portal/internet. You can find the list of towns covered by direct flights at the following link. From the airport you can take a public transportation to the "Molo Beverello", the bus stop is in FRONT OF ARRIVALS CONCOURSE and leaves each 20 minutes. The line is : ANM ALIBUS, the ticket price is 3 euros and it is called "UNICO ALIBUS". Further information can be found at this link. The bus reaches the port of Naples in about 30 minutes (please take it at least 1 hour before the departure of the ferry). You can also reach the "Molo Beverello" by TAXI at the price of 20-25 euros. There are several companies serving the Napoli to Ischia line, you can find the time tables at the following link. The ticket can be bought at the port (the price of the ticket is about 20 euros per way). Please ask for a ticket to "Ischia Porto" and not to Casamicciola or other ports in Ischia. From "Ischia Porto" to the Hotel is less than 10 minutes walk. A map of the path is shown at this link.

Bus from and to Roma Fiumicino

A bus from the Roma Fiumicino airport to Naples (and return) has been organised. The bus leaves at 2 p.m. of Sunday 11th from Terminal (to define). If you want to join the bus please be sure that your flight lands before 1 p.m and specify your flight number and arrival time in the registration form. On the way back we will take the ferry alilauro at 9:25 of Thursday the 15th of March and will arrive to Roma Fiumicino around 14:10. Please book your come back flight an hour later for Europe and at least 2 hours later for outside Europe countries. People joining the bus needs to pay the fee in advance according the instructions at the following link. In case you are not able, for any reason, to join the bus you can reach Naples from Termini railway station following the instruction below. In case you need to stay one night at Naples, you can take a room at the Hotel Terminus in Piazza Garibaldi, in front of the station.
