Leading-order hadronic contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon from twisted mass lattice QCD

A determination of the leading-order hadronic contribution to the muon's anomalous magnetic moment employing lattice QCD calculations is presented. Results from simulations with two mass-degenerate dynamical quarks are given. We discuss first computations for a situation where also the strange and charm quarks are included as dynamical degrees of freedom.
