Description
The propagation of electromagnetic waves in plasmas is allowed up to a maximum density (critical density) at which the pulsation of the wave W equals the plasma frequency Wp. However, at high intensities some phenomena arise which allow electromagnetic radiation to penetrate regions of the plasma at density higher than the critical one. Some of these phenomena will be presented here.
