Description

I will discuss the implementation of medium-modified splitting functions within the HERWIG parton shower algorithm, which satisfies the angular-ordering prescription. Results on transverse momentum, energy and angular distribution exhibit a remarkable impact of dense matter effects and are in qualitative agreement with the jet quenching observations. I will finally comment on the comparison with the results yielded by the Q-PYTHIA generator.
